Annual DA Events


April40 Years of DA! — April 15, 2016 marked 40 years since John H and another debtor met at a church in New York City for the first regularly scheduled Debtors Anonymous meeting. Each year we celebrate DA's founding by participating in World Service Month (WSM) in March and by contributing to the John H Scholarship Fund in April, providing funds for GSRs and ISRs to attend the annual World Service Conference. 

July— Pacific Northwest —  You are invited to the annual Northwest DA Conference, scheduled for July 14-16, 2017. Hear speakers, attend workshops, give and receive PRGs, participate in fellowship, expand your vision, and so much more! Share  your experience, strength, and hope with newcomers and fellow members. Meet new sponsees and potential PRG participants! Join in the fun of shared meals, social events, and fellowship activities. Renew old friendships and create new ones! Here's the Save the Date!

AugustThe World Service Conference (WSC) of Debtors Anonymous is the annual meeting of all worldwide General Service Representatives (GSRs), Intergroup Service Representatives (ISRs), and General Service Board Trustees (GSB) committed to providing service to Debtors Anonymous at the World Service Conference level in order to best advance the good of the fellowship of Debtors Anonymous.​ Visit the DA website for more details.


October — Annual Halloween Party hosted by the Higher Visions DA meeting. Come dressed as your vision (or not)!


November — Annual DA Gratitude Potluck hosted by Northwest DA Intergroup. Come join us in thankfulness!


December — Per our Bylaws (Article 5, Section 2): “The Annual Meeting shall be held in December for the purpose of electing Officers and Committee Chairs, receiving reports of Officers and Committee Chairs, and for any other business that may arise. The entire regional community should be invited to the Annual Meeting, with details distributed at least two months in advance of the meeting date.”

Epiphany Parish of Seattle, 1805 38th Ave, Seattle 98122 — Fundraiser to send Seward Park meeting's GSR to 2017 WSC. Led by a member with more than 20 years in DA.  $20 suggested donation, no one turned away for lack of funds.
